Jackson Used - Writer | Dramaturg | Creative Producer

I am a published playwright from Western Australia, now based in London, who has presented their work internationally, recently being commissioned by New Earth Theatre to co-write an international political drama based in Hong Kong with my colleague June Wong. As a dramaturg I have worked with writers including Tanika Gupta, Liv Hennessy, Oisin Kearney & Mick Patrick, Mufaro Makubika, Alex Young & Kate Marlais and have recently worked with Zoo Co to provide dramaturgical support for their 2024 Young Company play, a commissioned work co-created between young writer Liv Ello, and the Zoo Co young company artists (ages 15-18). I have supported numerous writing awards including the Untapped Award, Women’s Prize for Playwriting and the Theatre503 International Playwriting Award and the Royal Court Theatre Unpublished Playwright Program. I have worked with writers at all levels on Broadway, the West End, through regional UK and all around Australia.
